Bond financing

Corporate bonds have become of ever greater importance in recent years, and not only among issuers. Both institutional and private investors have increasingly opened up to this segment in recent years.

This development has been favored by the interplay of various factors. These include the generally low level of interest rates, the lack of investment alternatives in the fixed-interest segment, high liquidity on the markets, as well as more restrictive lending practices on the part of banks and an increasing desire on the part of issuers to build up a more crisis-resistant financing structure.

In order to offer optimal access conditions for our clients to the listed capital market, GBC has entered into certified partnerships with all four stock exchanges in Germany with an outstanding quality segment for SME bonds, thus ensuring the best possible access to private investors.

In addition to GBC’s in-house research and prominent capital market conferences, institutional investors can also reach issuers via long-standing placement partners such as the wholly-owned subsidiary GBC Kapital.
